My Best vacation

My most memorable vacation was about twenty years ago, but I remember like was yesterday. I was teenager full with energy. This vacation wasn't memorable because of the place where I went, was memorable because of the experience what I had.
The place Pietroasa is in Romania in country where I grow up. There are plenty beautiful places like the Black Sea, mountains and rivers.
This vacation was a church vacation with our Pastor, his wife, a few adults and about thirty teenagers from 15 years old-up. Everything was well prepared and organized. It was a hot summer moorning we gathered in front of the train station in Oradea. This place was almost 80 mile from the champing where we wanted to go. We gave everything to people with cars to carry our tents, blankets, clothes and we took a train. The adults with our tents went ahead to set up everything until we arrived. We arrived in Beius by train, this was the first city from the campsite, the distance to got there was about 8 mile. For a bus to go there we had to wait 3 hours. We walked that few miles. The weather was wonderful we cannot wish batter, we were young full with energy, we thought we will arrive before the bus. After 2-3 mile started to rain.. One girl had a blanket we rip in five-six pieces. When we arrived in bus station the bus which come three hours later arrived before us. Three days and night the rain did not stop. All our clothes were wet. We tried to dry at the fire, but the clothes were just smoked. A few tents were filed with water from a lot of rain. After three days we went home. The weather changed, no more rain just beautiful weather. In the weekend our Pastor asked us "Who wants to go back?" All of us have gone back to the campsite for a weak. The camping-ground was between a river and mountains. Every night we made camp-fire from pine tree. Every day we went hiking, we played a lot. After a week we didn't want to go home.
I will never forget this vacation.

My Trip to Crimea

For me the most memorable vocation was my trip in Crimea, because I had a lot of unforgettable impressions and I spent a good time with my friends and family. Crimea is located in Southern part of the Ukraine near the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov. I was there 4 years ago with my brother Volodya, mother, my mother’s friend Nataliya and her two children Christina and Yulya. We stayed in Gurzuf and rented an apartment near the Sea. Every day was amazing! We were enjoying the sunshine, swam, played different games and relaxed. We saw many interesting places there like the Vorontsov palace, the Livadia Palace, museums of cosmonautic and navy, National Park and zoos. We were in real battle ship “Yellow Waters” and had beautiful marine excursions on boats. The weather was excellent, the nature was very beautiful, foods were delicious and we had a lot of fun! We spent three weeks there, and I’m planning to be there again this summer. In conclusion, I think this trip to Crimea was the most wonderful and an exciting, because I saw there many interesting places and I was with my family and friends. It was enjoyable!

My birthplace

Shkodra is a very ancient city in Albania. At the entrance, there is a beautiful castle that has a sad story. In that story half of a woman's body was buried in the castle in order so the castle would stand and not fall. In the picture, there is overlooking Shkodra from the castle. In summer the climate is very hot and me and my family go to the beach or the lake. In winter its often cold but it doesn't snow a lot. I had a lot of fun when I was at my birthplace and I got to ride my bike a lot. I remember when I was a teacher and my students loved me so much! I have a beautiful house in Shkodra I miss Shkodra a lot! When I go back to my country, the ancient castle will welcome me.

my next vacation

Italy is very nice country. One of the most beautiful contries in the world.It has very nice, important cities. I and my friend are planning to have a vacation next summer to Italy.We have many exciting plans for our trip to Italy. We going to stay for one week there. we 're going to go to Vence city. This city is an imazing city because the location of this city is in the sea. The water is around all the city. It's like somthing u cant believe. Even the roads there are made by water. The people use a small boats to move . So i think it's gonna be fun for us to move in the city. Second we will go to another city called Milan . It's a big city . We going to visit intermilan soccer team. One of the famoust soccer teams in Italy and Europe. We might can able to watch them playing. Then we 're going to go to Sicilia island. it's south Italy in the middeterian sea .we 're going to spend two days in pzzelle city. So we 're going to swim in the beautiful beach and enjoy the hot weather. Finally and the last thing we 're goint to go to is Rome the greatest city in the world, and one of the oldest cities too. We going to see the old buildings, the old houses and know how they used to build it . After that we will visist saint peter's church in the Vatican. we going to see the beautiful paintings inside the church. these paintings belongs to very famous painters like Lionardo Dafinshi and others. So this is will be the last step before we leave Italy. That's how we going to spend our vacation in Italy.

`Memorable Vacations

Most of the people enjoy their vacations by going out for a picnic or visit some places or sit in front of television sets and few people visit their friend and relatives as i did in my last vacations

I visited INDIA where my paternal uncle lives. I enjoyed a lot.I stayed there for 1 month, during those days i visited GOLDEN TEMPLE and JALIAN WALLA BAGH. Golden temple is a holy place where people worship and by going there one can regain internal peace. one of the most important thing of golden temple is that it is fully gold plated.The hari mandir,now called the golden temple is a living symbol of the spirtiual and histrocial traditions of the sikhs.The temple have been a source of inspirstion to the sikh community ever since its foundation.The golden temple is not a place of workship but also a rallying centre of sikh solidarity.It is the heritage of sikh people gathered in their five hundred-year old history.After that we are going to Jalian walla bagh. Jalian walla bagh is a historical garden where cruelty of Britishers is buried. one can go and witness the cruelty of Britishers.

Thats the place i like to u again,i really missing that place. I am really missing India and defiantly visit India again in my next vacation

VACATION IN FLORIDA

Last summer I had a beautiful vacation in Florida with my family.
After almost 12 hours of driving, we arrived at the first point of the itinerary: Daytona Beach. Because we had to live somewhere we got a room at a Motel, then we went out to visit the city. On that day we got a welcome in the country of "Sunshine" with a violent storm but, the next day it was like nothing happened. We enjoyed the beach and the tall waves of the ocean, the palm trees' shadow, and the spectacular view of the town in the night.
The next stop, after we left Daytona, was Orlando. It was the most attractive place from our trip for my daughter. In the first day we went out to eat, see the surroundings, and of course shopping. We spent the following day in a wonderful environment of Disney World, at Magic Kingdom Park. It was regrettable to not have enough time to visit all the parks but, we had to move on to the next stop.
On the morning of the fifth day we left Orlando and drove toward Clear Water. The way was full of spectacular views. After we got there we were eager to see the beach. Over here the beach is well-known for its calm and warm water. We went to Honey-Moon Beach and Clear Water Beach. The ocean spoiled us with its clear water, where we found a lot of seashells, and the sunrise and the sunset impressed us.
The time went by very fast. Even though everything was lovely and beautiful as a nice dream, we had to get back to our lives. Now, it is more than half a year and I am still thinking about the beautiful time that I had in Florida my last summer vacation.

My Favorite Vacation

My favorite vacation was in Egypt . It was4 years ago ,and I still remember like it was yesterday. Ivisited every where in EGYPT such as :The River Nile ,tempels,Cairo Tower,Pyramids,and the most important places and really nice places.in my vacation Ivisited my friends over there and went with them to a nice place .I rode a little boat in the Great River Nile at nieght with a pretty air and just adark sky with a bright stars.I viseted The Pyramids the most important and old places in cairo and rode a horse and injoyed the pretty views . I visited the famous clubs in cairo with family and friends and injoyed my time .Finally I cant discribe how this vacation it was nice but I advice you if you have a time to visite my country you well injoy your time over there and you can find a lot of ways to injoy your self.

My trip to Pamporovo,Bulgaria

I went to Pamporovo, Bulgaria on vacation. It was in July 2003. It was my 1-st time there. I went with my husband and our friends. We were away for six days.We drove to Pamporovo by bus. It took about thirty hours to get there from Kiev,Ukraine. We stayed in a hotel.The weather was nice. It was warm, sunny and fresh (because we were in mountains). While we were there, we had excursions,we saw some old churches and houses, we rode on cable car and swam in mountainous river. I have a small stone from this river. Once, we found the place, there strawberry are grown, when we walked.While we were there, we usually went out to eat. We tried Bulgarian food. It was delicious!I took some pictures with my camera. I bought a few souvenirs and postcards, but I didn't spend much money on my trip.The best things about my trip were mountains, forest and mountainous river (may be because I really love nature). So, I liked Pamporovo a lot. I'd really like to go there again. I had a great time!

My Future Dream Vacations!

Many of you, when watching TV enjoy to see warm weather, ocean, palm trees, girls in swimming suites and sunny beaches.I would certainly love to go to one of them. First name that comes to mind is Myrtle Beach, which is located in North Carolina - little more than eleven hours drive from Cleveland. I would like to take a friend or a family member with me so I could have some company. We would walk the beach everyday from one end to another enjoying watching people suntanning, playing beach volleyball, reading books, walking their dogs and just simply relaxing. I think that sunsets are very romantic, so I would for sure want to catch few of them. As for my friend and I, we would do lots of tanning, swimming, looking for some sea shells, perhaps do some fishing from a shore and like everyone there - do lots of relaxing too. Surrounding areas are also very inviting. Lots of put-put mini-golf places, stores, outlet malls and little souvanier shops. You can get anything you want or especially when you forgot to pack something like simple sunscreen lotion. I also enjoy trying different dishes so eating in local dinners sounds like a very good idea.
In conclusion, going and visiting warm sunny beaches like Myrtle Beach is a great idea and place to go for my future dream vacations.

Vacation 2007

I will spend this years vacation in Poland. I want to take my youngest doughter Joanna there. We are planning this trip after hers and mine school is over with around tenth of June. I want to show my doughter the country she was born in. The other very important purpose of this trip is to meet with my family and friends. We didn't see them almost seven long years. Joanna knows them only from picutres and stories. Another important goal for my doughter is the Polish language. She speaks polish very well, but after being in Poland and spending time with her cousins, her polish language will be much better.
During the stay in Poland we will see cities. I want to show my doughter Krakow. There are many old churches, museums and the best of it all, castle of Wawel. There is a beautiful river Wisla. Some cities located near Krakow are: Wieliczka, Bochnia, Myslenice, Zakopane and others. Krakow and it's surroundings is my lovely place. My sister and my two brothers live there with their families. We will spend a lot of time with them.
I am very excited about the visit. We are slowly preparing for this trip. I buy the needed things and souvenires for the family. This trip will be expenisive, but very important and necessary for my doughter and I. The time spend in Poland will be very nice.

The Best Trip

I went on vacation to Puerto Rico by myself in 2005. I visited family and friends for a week. I enjoyed sightseeing in San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico. I went with a group of friends to see the fort of San Felipe del Morro. It has been around for almost five centuries. It was designated as a World Heritage Site in 1983. We also visited the Bacardi Rum Distillery, the largest in the world. There, they re-create the history of the Bacardi family and the production of Bacardi rum. Another place that we visited was El Yunque, the rainforest in Rio Grande. It is the wettest area of Puerto Rico and is good for walking or serious hiking. There are popular trails, peaks, and pools of water leading into remote areas. Going south of Puerto Rico, we also visited a castle named El Castillo de Serralles. This is another historic attraction, where the The Serralles family were the first to produce rum on the Island. A couple of days , my friends and I went to the beach. We had a blast. The weather was great the whole week, no rain at all. We also went to one of the casinos there in Diamond Hotel and Casino...no luck, didn't win anything.

I had a wonderful time with my grandma. She cooked a delicious chicken soup. I got to see my aunts and my uncle from my mother's side. It has been five years that I haven't seen them. I stayed at my mother's whom I haven't seen for some time. The time was wonderful. I went to see my family and friends again before I came back to Ohio. It was really enjoyable. I enjoyed my family, friends and time so much that I am looking forward to going back soon.

My summer vacation in Belarus

Every summer I ask myself where I would like to spend my vacation? I think it is interesting to discover new countries and cities, to taste exotic food, to meet different people and to learn more about other cultures and traditions. But I know in my heart there is one place that is special to me and where I wish to return again and again. This is my family's summer house. It is located in a beautiful part of Belarus near a lake. This is the place where I can forget about the noise of the big city and enjoy nature, peace and quiet. It takes one hour to get there by train. I like to spend time there with my family and friends. Just one hour and I can hear the birds in the morning, I can see the blue sky in the afternoon, and I can look at the stars in the evening. Life slows down there. I see so many things there that remind me about my childhood. I feel I am five years old child when my mom opens a door and says "Hi, sweetie. It is morning. Wake up!". These feelings are very sweet like my mom's homemade strawberry jam.

There are so many activities I can do there alone or with my family. I swim and feel how cold water is in the lake in the morning. I ride my bicycle and discover new places near the summer house. I pick berries and mushrooms in the forest. I relax outside after lunch, read my book and feel the warmth of sun on my skin or I keep my eyes closed and listen to the different sounds: the laughter of children, barking of the neighbour's dog, singing of the birds, wind... I help my mother to prepare a tasty dinner and then enjoy the meal with my family in the evening when we get together, speak about everything, laugh and have fun. It is an amazing place where I feel happy, calm and safe. The summer days are short. And these moments are precious to me. I keep them in my heart. When it is cold outside or when I am sad, I think about these special days and I feel happy and I smile.

The Magic Trip to The Disney World

It was a week before the thanks giving when my family decided to go to Orlando city , Florida to visit the Disney world . How many of you know Mr.Mickey mouse and the other folks , probably most of you , but how many of you had the dream of meeting them , maybe a few or non , Its true that I'm 27 years old man ,but i still have a little child inside me , and i still need to feed this childish instinct from time to time. so i think nothing will be better than a visit to the Disney world , any way we took the air plane from Cleveland to Orlando city , and after the arrival and car rental our trip just started , at that evening we went to see the Cirque Du Soleil and i cant describe how wonderful was the show like no other .
The next day we went to the magic kingdom and toony land where the a story book fantasy comes to life , the castle , Cinderella, Aladdin, beauty & the beast all the cartoon characters i saw them i had great picture with them Mickey , Goofy, Blotto and even Mini ( she gave me her phone number but please don't tell Mickey ) and if you want to get the whole magic picture you should wait and watch the fire works and what we did , the sky was bright for half an hour it was amazing i have never seen such a beautiful thing like this before , any way the third day we went to the EPCOT and we talked with the turtle (character from the cartoon movie finding nemo ) , then we enjoy playing with all the games there like the test track and mission space .........etc
I think if i am going to talk about all the details in this trip i am not going to finish today , but anyway i just want say how happy i was and how full of energy i was , i guess the 10 or maybe the 12 years old child inside me were jumping all the time ,and not the 27 years old man , but you should go there and try that great experience by your self , its the only place where you can goof around , and believe me i would love to go there again and again, and stay in that magic world where you can live your childish dreams and forget your problems...........

A Memorable Vacation

I will never forget when I went to El Salvador for a Christmas vacation. It was the Christmas of the year 2004. It had been four years since I had seen my family and friends. It all started when I left Cleveland Hopkins Airport on a cold winter morning when there was lots of snow. When I arrived in El Salvador the weather was a lot different. Instead of snowing it was warm and there was a nice blue sky where the sun was shining bright. My family was at
the airport waiting for me happily, after they greeted me we drove home. At home there was a lot of my favorite food that my mom made. The first day I stayed home talking with my family about how different life is in the United States. The next day it was a beautiful morning so we went to the beach, we swam, played, ate, and really enjoyed everything. Two days later it was Christmas and there was lots of tasty homemade food and the whole town was having a big party. That night there were fireworks that made the sky shine bright and mariachi music. We all danced, talked, played games, and later that night we went to church. After Christmas was over there was only three days left of my vacation so I decided to spend them relaxing with my family and friends. Finally my vacation finished and I came back to Cleveland were as I saw the snow I remembered the beautiful, warm, and sunny weather of my country. Everything worked out perfect in my vacation and that is why I will never forget it.

Memorable Vacation

My trip to the California was the most memorable vacation I have ever taken.

I, my husband and ours friends decided to go there in September 2006.

We flew from Cleveland to San Francisco.When we arrived in San Francisco, we got a rental car,

because we planned to drive towards Las Vegas in Nevada. In San Francisco we were two days and visited many

interesting places, such as:Chinatown,Alcatraz,Golden Bridge.

I liked there cable car and unique architecture.

After two days we started to drive towards Nevada.

During ours trip the weather was great. Everyday we visited many places,such as:Lake Taho, Yosemite Park,

Mammoth Lake,Death Valley.Each place was different from the other and we had great time and unusual

impressions.Extreme feelings made me Death Valley.It is the largest natural museum located below sea level.

My first impression was it appears to be a barren wasteland without any life.That was not true there were much

to be see and experienced,for example Bad Water,Scotty's Castle.Two story Spanish Villa in a desert location

was built by a chicago insurance magnate.He constructed Death Valley ranch for his health,because dry,sunny

climate improved his fettle.We had no time to see everything because outside was very hot.

We tolerated that very badly.Death Valley is one of the hottest places on earth.We drove over 100 miles and

we were afraid if we have enough water to drink.

We will never forget the excellent trip and we are going to take similar trip in the future.

nesrin's family vacation

Probably all of you heard about Turkey and Istanbul maybe about Izmir but I don't think any of you heard about my little town Yalova. It is by Marmara sea across Istanbul. You can easily travel to Istanbul by ferries in about an hour.Since it is that close to Istanbul. The people in Istanbul rush to Yalova in the summer for vacation. It is a touristic city because it has long and beautiful shores and beaches.
I'm so lucky since my family lives in such a touristic city. When I visit my family in the summer I also enjoy from beauty of the city.
My city has many Thermal Springs by the hills. In this Thermal area there are ponds of hot water,waterfalls,picnic areas and hotels. There is also a house in the Thermal area. This house is a museum now because the famous Turkish leader Ataturk used to stay in some summer for his vacation.
At one of the villages named Kurtkoy there are famous trout restaurants and picnic areas. Another village named Tesvikiye has a creek and many little waterfalls. It is a good place for jogging and camping.
Turkey is a beautiful country and there are many cities which have their different food and culture. Yalova is only one of them and its lucky for begin very close to Istanbul.

Memories of Emily's Utah Vacation

Utah is a remarkable destination for vacationing because it provides a wide variety of geography for hikers. The scenic Wasatch Mountain range offers everything from challenging terrain and steep vertical climbs to fun switchback trails to scenic outlooks. I prefer short hikes in the Albion Basin during the springtime when all of the wild flowers are in bloom in the meadows that are nestled at the foot of a striking peak. When my friends and I reach Lake Blanche we relax with a simple picnic.

I also enjoy vacationing in the mountains of Southern Utah with my family. We usually camp under the brilliant star-lit sky the night before our big hike through the famous Narrows in Zion’s National Park. We start the 16 mile hike walking through fields, then we cross a thousand streams, and finally end by wading or swimming through pools. The splendor of the canyons comes from the water that has sculpted tall narrow canyons over thousands of years. My body is always exhausted at the end of the hike, but I have a deep feeling of satisfaction after accomplishing such a great feat, a renewed sense of awe for nature's wonders, and lasting memory with family. These experiences in the green Rocky Mountains in Northern Utah and the red rock formations of Southern Utah are interwoven with friends and family, which is what makes Utah an ideal vacation spot for me.
