Escape from Reality

In attempt to escape from reality, a person might create a small world to which he or she only is familiar to. For example, one man who has been wealthy for his whole life might think that they will never encounter financial problems. However, if at one point he goes bankrupt he would feel the world falling down and would try to find a solution to his problem. First, the man would most likely begin to drink to the point that he would do it everyday. Then, the man would probably begin using some types of drugs making him addicted. When the man does this he does not improve his problem, he only makes it worst. The man would be unable to think of what to do in order to solve his bankruptcy and will eventually, affect his own health. Finally, the man might abandon his family, because he feels guilty that he did not do a good job to keep his family from suffering financially and emotionally. This is just one of the many ways a person might try to escape from reality.
