Turkish and American wedding culture

I found American and Turkish weddings having some similarities and some differences. First of all, wedding dresses are the same. In both cultures, brides wear a white wedding dress and grooms put on a tuxedo. Also both cultures invite all of their families and friends. Another similarity is that they both have good music and food at their weddings. In both cultures groom should not see the bride on wedding day.
In terms of some differences on wedding day; i
n America, people usually give gifts or gift card s to the marrying couples. In Turkey, people get gold instead of gifts or gift cards. There is another difference also bridemaids. In Turkey brides do not have bride maids. We can say that both cultures have bachelor s' party but in Turkish culture usually only ladies celebrate it with the Hannah party. Around wedding time in American culture, there is a wedding shower and couples register in to the stores for whatever they need. However, in Turkey bride’s and groom’s families buy anything they want; there is no registration at the stores. American and Turkish wedding have some differences ,but wedding time is very special and exiting time for all the cultures.

Hi,
it is a very good paragraph and very interesting. I had nice things to learn from your culture, even though it is almost the same in my country, too.
Good job !

I have learned new things from this paragraph. You must connect better the first and the last sentence. The ideas are clear and understandable.

Excellent idea of paragraph, enough examples - good job!
But you will able to improve it if:
- make concluding sentence;
- use more comparing (like on p. 127-129 and p. 141-143 )
Good luck!

Topic/Concluding:
American and Turkish weddings have some...(no I)
Concluding?

Supporting Ideas:

You are right about the groom not seeing the bride on the day. You can remove "I am assuming" because it is true.
Very clear. Good examples.
Finish your paragraph with the strongest point (the last one is not the strongest right now).
Transitions/Vocabulary:
Good transitions.
Also,
Bridesmaids

Grammar/Comparitives:

the wedding dress
You need two comparatives.
