I got chance to come U.S.A, It is big surprise.

I was really surprised, when my wife got US work visa in 2001. She was invited by the Cleveland municipal school district recruitment board, to teach math to 11Th and 12 Th grade students in health careers high school. After she got her visa, myself and my son also got dependent visas's to come to United States of America. It's another surprised to me.

The changes surprised me

I was really surprised when I looked at the pictures my sister sent me.
On the pictures were my sister's kids, my nephew and my nice. I did not recognize them. I haven't seen them since 2005 and they had changed a lot.
My nephew is a tall, skinny 16 year old young man. He is taller then his father and then his grandfathers to. My nice is going to be 12 years old next month, she is a pretty girl, not a little girl anymore. When I came here in America seven years ago they were little kids, now they are taller than me.

Actually I don't know what to write, many things surprised me when I came here . But I really was surprised by the huge malls here in America. Because back home we don't have like these big malls, all we have is shops on both sides of the street. So it is like walking in the street and shopping at the same time , its kind cool and you will meet most of your friends too. But here its different, everything you want meet in one giant place, so its kind of saving time for busy people , and i like it too. Especially at Christmas time and Halloween.

THE PLEAS OF EVERY THING

on my second day in America when I went with my brother to big K mart,i was confused and i did not know what to do and where to go. the only think i did was looking around. for someone or something i know, but no one i know was there, i felt lonely and lost no were to go and nothing to do. And i now i had to Loren more English it will help me allot in my life if i had to live in America then my brother start to show me were i shoud go if i whant to find something to fast. but what sorpreis me the most how big is the store and i am shore you can find any think you want fire fast because the pleas is orgonis and if you falw the sien. You will never miss,and you will find every thing in there.I was very happy that Ihad learned my way way around and Ihad started go there by my self.

Surprising phone call

Today,in the middle afternoon my sister surprised me with her phone call. She told me that they were just told to a leave the building do to a huge gas line brake. Everybody had to go, grab a coat and meet on a parking lot. Immediately 5 firetrucks and police cars showed up blocking exits and entries to the building and securing employees waiting on a parking lot. Everyone was surprised and so in this same worried how long will take the fireman to secure the area so people can leave. Couple hours later I've received another phone call was on her way home. All the gas lines were shut off and secure. I'm wondering if she will work tomorrow. I'll be surprised if they would.

An Unforgettable Surprise

I was surprised when I was awarded for being one of the best literature students in my country. It all started when I was in the tenth grade, when the Ministry of Education made a convocation for all the principals of the schools in my country. The reason for the convocation was that they wanted to make a literature test for all the students. It was a competition for the students to see how well they were doing in literature. In addition, they wanted one winner from each department of my country. To make the story short, I became the winner for having the highest test score of my department, which is La Union. As the winner I received a great price which was some money accompanied by a beautiful trophy. At that moment my family and I couldn't believe that I won. I thanked God for allowing me to be one of the best students in my country. This was an unforgettable surprise.

A BIG SURPRISE

I was surprised to see how unprepared are American people in some simple situations. It was in the summer of 2003 (if I am right?) when the electricity had fallen down. It was a technical problem at the hydro-electric station at Buffalo.
First of all, it was a very unpleasant surprise for every driver. A lot of them got into car crashes. It was a very busy day for the firefighters.
Second of all, people got scared about water and food, so they started to stock them. All the open stores were taken with assault, people were pushing each-other to get first in the line and pay before have been evacuated.
Finally, more people than I could imagined had the worry on their faces. Everybody were panicked out. They gathered outside and were talking loud about what happens. There was not to long after September 11. But happily, the situation wasn't a terrorist one and it ended in two days.
The fact of being so unprepared and scared for a simple failure of the electricity let me speechless.

My Surprise

I was surprised when one day I went with my son to McDonalds, and he ordered his happy meal without my help. I couldn't believe it, my son was growing very fast, it's very hard to accept because for me, like mother, my son always will be my baby. Time goes by so fast, that soon my son will end his primary school and soon will begin high school, too.

One of the biggest surprise

One of the biggest thing that surprised me was when I won the American

visa lottery and did not get visa.It happened in 1997 year.I got letter from

American Embassy in Warsaw that I won chance to get Green Card.

They sent me instruction how I can get necessary papers.We started

to prepare all needful papers when I got the second letter from American

Embassy.They inform me that computer made mistake and choose too

many people and my name is among them. I got Green Card in a few

years later by family sponsor and now I live in United States.

Deer in my backyard

I was overwhelmed a few weeks ago when I saw a deer in my backyard. It was large. It had big antlers and sad eyes. It ate bushes and trees. This winter brings much snow and cold in our area. It seems to me the winter season is a very difficult time to find enough food and survive for wild animals. I was surprised this deer was not afraid of people and it trusted me. I tried to go closer and it only looked at me and did not run away. It was amazing and unbelievable for me. I came from a large city and it is not possible to see deer that come so close to where people live. I can only see deer in the zoo or if I am lucky enough I can see them at my summer house near a forest. So it is a wonderful feeling for me to be so close to nature. Now when I wake up every morning, I look out the window with hope to see this deer again in my backyard.

I was surprised by my husband recently

My husband works as a painter in international union. On last week he said me that in company some problem with job, and may be he won't work a couple weeks. I was surprised and began to worry how we could paid bills if we lost major income our family. But this bed situation was change for the better. One good person said my husband can apply on unemployment and he is going to get help, while he doesn't have a job. So, it is enough for our bills, plus my husband is going to be at home and I am going to have more time for study.

My biggest surprise

I have had a lot of surprises in my life but my biggest surprise was when my husband won the american lottary. This is a chance that millions of people apply but not all of them win. I have been living this surprise that changed my family's life for almost two years. We got new jobs, a new house and we had to learn new streets. I needed to improve my english so I have to go to tri-c college. Another surprise of mine is that my children teach me new things in english that I did not know before, but in Albania I actually taught my kids.

When I was in high school, I had a dream go to USA to study. My parents also want me go to school at USA. I study so hard to get my dream. A lot of my friend also want that but it is not easy to get USA visa. I was surprised when I was interviewed. They told me that I got visa. Oh!My gosh. I can believe it. My parent were so surprised and very happy. I am so excited about everything. Now, I am studying at USA but I am still surprised about it sometime.

Surprised by Friend

I have a friend in India. His name is hammi. He wished to go to Australia for study. Before few days we were talking and he said that he got the visa for Australia, when he told me that i thought he is joking but yesterday in the morning he called me and said he is in Australia, when i heared that i was surprised that he got the visa and now he was in Australia and i am so happy for him.

My last surprise

My last surprise was when I came to Tri-C College and there were no study. It was day before Valentine’s Day. At that day I have two classes: Speaking and Reading & Writing. When I came to college parking lot I saw that there was empty. Usually, there are hundreds cars, but I saw just two another’s cars on all parking lot. At that moment I was amazed, where were everybody? After that, I call to classmate to ask, “Where is he now?” He said that “I’m home because today we don’t have study at college” I ask “Why?” And he said “ Because today is the bad weather, and very dangerous to drive a car , and on the TV were showing that at colleges today won’t be study ” At that day I didn’t watch TV, that is why when I came to college,I was astonished there were no study.
