Non-werbal communication

1. A couple of days ago I saw my daughter studying. I could tell she was nervous because she kept on tapping her pencil to the desk. So I asked her what was wrong and i figured out that she was nervous about the Ohio Achievement Tests coming up at her school.

2. When my grandpa would tap his knobby cane to the floor and fake a cough, that meant that he wanted to eat.

3. Every time I see a frown on my kids' face I immediately understand that they are sad. Whenever I come home and they hug me tight I understand they are very happy about something.
