Turning point

I was seventeen years old, when my father took the most important decision in my live. Which is sending me to Egypt to study in a dentistry school. First of all I was very shocked by that decision, I refused it and tried to convince my parents not to do that. I was afraid to be alone, but after a while I just surrender for the fact that this is the best choice for me and my future. I really had emotional complex, I don't know what to do or how is the situation will be. Just like Homer in the story "You Go Your Way, I`ll Go Mine". I have never travelled abroad alone before, or even left the home for more than few days. I am only seventeen years old I do not have enough experience in life to live alone, be responsible and to make my own decisions. The most thing that tears me apart is watching my parents crying while I am leaving, it was the first time for me to see my father crying. That was the biggest turning point in my life where i made my way far from the family nest. It was my time to grow up and to leave all the childish things behind, it was time to face the real life alone and to be a man.

You see at the end they help you to get good education.
Our teacher always said you are the most important person in earth for that always capatilize "I"...and do not use contractions in the paragraph. Good luck!!!
