Adjective Clause/ A and The Quiz

Combine these sentences using an adjective clause.

1. (a) The plane was trying to land at JFK Airport.
(b) The plane crashed.

2. (a) The girl will live with her older sister.
(b) The girl lost her mother last week.

Add your own adjective clause to the italicized word in the sentence.

Example: The carpenter was a student.

4. The doctor was taking a nap when the nurse called him.

Write commas where they are necessary.
