The style of clothing in the U.S.

When I came in the U.S. ,I was surprised by a lot of things : how people dress here, that I could not smell the exhaust gasses from the cars, I've heard the loud sounds coming from the highway that I never heard before, the fruits did not taste the same to me, expecially out of season. I could not get used to the taste of milk and sour cream as well. But now I'd like to tell you just one of them.

I knew, it was different country, culture and distinct thinking, although I was really surprised how people were dressed.

First, when I went shopping for the first time, I saw some people, wearing pajamas. That was very interesting - how people didn't care how they look like. It was very difficult for me to analyze, because in my country any person respecting yourself can't go public without putting himself in order. It may seems extreme, but in my country women can't take out the garbage with her hair undone.

Second, it was weird to see older ladies wearing plastic bags on their heads.

Finally, it was very surprised to see people wearing short-sleeved shirts, shorts and even flip-flops in winter time. I understand that the sun is out and it's few degrees warmer then yesterday, but they still must feel the freezing cold! Also I don't understand how people can bring their kids out in the cold without proper clothing like boots and hats.

So, though the climate of the U.S. and my native country - Ukraine are same, but the style of clothing is really distinct and now you could understand how surprised I was by that I saw.
